Only enough for a troll. . .
Any substance to this, or are all those of us who are reasonably
satisfied with their Traxxas rig doing something wrong?

After these past few days after Xmas working on them, I would almost agree.

Probably the biggest problem with the Traxxas vehicles has been the stupid
people that NEVER EVER read the instructions. Even had one guy who rang us
twice in the morning and got sick of trying to figure things out on his own,
so he drove 100 k's to bring one back to us because he put the esc in
calibration mode and couldnt figure out why it wasnt going.

I have to agree with you 100%, , and having been one of those stupid
people once, , I have to say I have an insider's look at it. My "stupid"
mistake was turning in the LSN until it hit the jet/tube/nozzle and
flaired it out, creating a very retarded tuning situation.

I think Traxxas makes a VERY attractive package for a beginner, which
makes for more noob problems. Just the EZ-start makes it attractive to
noobs.
