check out www.engagerc.com their baja and touring cars are less than
500 each. u can have it for life.

The time frame precludes single contract renting. Six months is a lease.
However, you may be able to renew rentals and Hertz was only
company recently that would rent you a car for six weeks at a time.
The others of use all had four week limits a couple of years
ago, when I was involved in such.
Some of the CONTIGUOUS STATES ONLY brigade (Thrifty,Dollar,
Enterprise,et al) may have longer term rentals, but that wouldn''t
help your needs as described herein.
