Hello everyone,

Ive had a TMaxx 2.5 for about a year and just took it out again afte
about 6 months. During the break in process I noticed a couple o
things. The truck idles to high no matter how much I adjust it. when a
idle it jerks like it wants to go but as soon as I give it a littl
break the idle speed drops down a bit and the truck settles down. Anyon
have any ideas what would cause the truck to jerk at Idle?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Smitt

Sounds like you need to adjust the throttle/brake linkage by
tightening the spring on the arm from the servo to the carbuerator.
Adjust this with the motor off and the electronics on. Make sure the
rubber accordion looking thing is closing completely when the radio is
in neutral position. (When applying brake you should not see any
additional closing.) Be sure to not over do it, stressing the servo or
limiting the throttle. Good luck.
