Hi all

Looking for some advice on a hop-up option for my Tamiya TL-01.

I would like to replace the standard diffs with ball diffs.  Tamiya list two
for this car, the Manta Ray and the TA03, they are definitely two different
kits with more parts in the TA03 kit, and a higher price.

Anyone know what the difference is or which one is better.

Thanks for any help

Jean

Hi Jean

I would suggest that you buy whichever one suits your pocket.  Having said
that I'm waiting on delivery of the TA03 version :)

Another alternative for the front diff, if you are considering racing, is
the new front one-way hop-up kit, part no. 53200.

Before you pay full retail for any tl01 hop-up, may I suggest that you visit
this fellow:

http://www.stores.ebay.co.uk/victor101srccarshop

He's got a manta ray ball diff at 16.00 + p&p.

I have done quite a lot of business with this guy: he is good and reliable.
If you don't see what you want in the way of other hop-ups, make contact
with him and he will get them for you at a good discount.
