Wuttup group?
Just a couple of notes.
After a year of abuse, the starter motor finally fried on my maxx 2.5.  I
replaced it with the pull-start and was extremely happy with the weight
savings and the uncluttered look.  I fired it right up and was warming up
the engine when it stalled.  I gave the cord the brief, short yank and the
return-spring gave up and the cord would not return.  Way to go Traxxas:
Three pulls and you're done.  Guess I'll scrounge up some dough for a
roto-start finally.

Also, we have a classified-ad website called craigslist that is the best way
to buy or sell used stuff.  You would not believe how many RC cars and
trucks have appeared in the last couple of days.  Too bad the prices are
completely unrealistic!  Note to kids:  RC trucks are NOT a financial
investment.

Later!

That's exceedingly rare on the 2.5 pullstart (the pro15 pullstarts
were, IMO, a bit fragile).

I'd send it in to Traxxas with a copy of my receipt and let them
replace it.
