Any 1/8 scale car can do 80 with a good engine and gearing
Ive seen them at Floyd Bennet field in brooklyn. Scary as hell.
Look to Serpent or Mugen for proven designs and available parts.
Kyosho seems to have been riding on Towers coattails lately and getting lazy with their
R&D work.
Of all the car makers, kyo has been the least interesting for several years now - aside
from the mini z....and thats pretty much a toy.

Kyosho is one of the leading companies when it comes to .21 1:8 on
road racing, i still remember the original Fantom in 1986, they
stopped releasing new designs for about 12 years, but it seems they're
coming back.
but of course mugen & serprnt are also good.
