Greetings,
I'm chasing some online stores that have the Kyosho MP7.5
Sports (the one with the GS.21R engine) for sale.  I see that Tower Hobbies
have them......is US$422 a good price for this car?  I'll be having it
shipped over here to me in Australia.  The only places over here that I've
found them are *way* more expensive by comparison........  Eg, buy it here =
A$950 + freight.  US$422 = ~A$630 + freight.  Pretty major difference
there......even *if* I get hit with duty and GST on the way in :-)

How are the GS.21R engines for reliability etc compared to, say, an OS of
the same spec?  What about power?

Thanks,
MrBonk

Try http://www.hobbynet-jp.com/english/hobbynet.html US$353 + shipping.

I wish I had found them before I bought my 7.5!

Kysoho GS21R is known for not beeing that good.
It runs very hot and is an item for replacement in not so far future. OS is
a far better engine.

Very true, I would suggest getting the regular MP-7.5 rather than the
Sports, it has a number of upgraded and more durable parts. The kit is
about the same cost but you will have to pay extra for and engine and
exhaust.

I run a Hyper .21 4 port in mine, it was cheap and is fast enough to be
competetive in races. The new 8 port should be even better.
