G'Day all,

I had a chrystal inside an old Sanwa (circa 1980's) FM radio that has
snapped one of it's posts.

Would modern FM chrystals of the same frequency be compatible with
this radio? It had a 27.245mhz (6) in it already.

Cheers,

Ben.

as long as the direction of FM shift is the same, it might work.  That's all
I know.
