Who's "WE"?
Is the track sponsored by the LHS... or is "WE" an R/C Club?
>Open club rules, you bring it, you run it. $3.00 to run the track.
Are there at least separate classes to run in? OR... do you allow ALL the
different vehicles to run at the same time?
I used to run in a local Friday night "run-what-ya-brung" race.
There were 1/8th scale buggies... 1/10th scale trucks, 1/10th scale buggies,
T-Maxx's, E-Maxx's, Pirates, Savages, Nitro or Electric... ALL running the
track at the same time.
It didn't matter WHAT it was... if it could run... it was allowed to race.
While is was BIG fun.... I got tired of crazed 13 yr olds, who only understand
WOT... smashing up my expensive racers.
Unfortunately, it became more like a demolition derby, rather than an organized
race.
They didn't care if they smashed up their OWN vehicles... they had DADDY go out
and buy parts, and fix them up... just in time for the next week's carnage.
Anyway... thanks for posting.
Since the track was closed at Freedom Hill, There have been very few organized
racing options in the SE Michigan area.

They do split up the races into classes. 1/8 scale buggies, 1/10 scale
trucks and buggies, elec, monster trucks, ect. I would have to say the
track is a little small for 1/8 scale ROAR standards.
To be honest since not many people know about the track yet, the turnout has
been small, really only the regulars from the local hobby shop.
I guess I should clarify, I am not running the track. The track is being
run by the Church. Their is no official sanctioning of this track so far.
I just threw this post out there to let anyone in the area know the track is
there.
