I have an radioshack Rock Rockrunner, seen here

http://highmark.ashst.com/MyStuff/RCTRUCK/rctruck.htm

Is there anything I can do to these little electric trucks for more
speed, or anything, I just want to mess around ith it and see what I
can do to it. I have already "welded" the spider gears with glue so
that the rear end is locked, and spins both tires at the same speed
(Its snow here, so there was no loss in handling)

Thats all I have found that I can do, has anyone done anything with
similar trucks for fairly cheap, seeing i didnt pay anything for the
truck.

I plan on trying to find a donar truck, and seeing if I can convert to
4WD, since it has the hubs and space for it. Any ideas? Any
sites/links?

Anything is apprechiated. (SP?)

I doubt it. you said radioshack? we generally consider those toys here. they
are not really upgradeable or repairable. think of yours like a packaged
Twinkie and ours as a scratch cake mix.

just my $.02

You're in original artistry land here.  Other people have done this, but
you're basically on your own for parts and ideas.   Good luck!  The rest of
us don't have the time or energy to custom fabricate when there are predone
mods and cars that are already much better performance than Radio Shack.

I also have a Radio Smack truck, I did some mod's, upgraded Radio gear, Fast
motor (20 Turns) and ESC.
All of which is left overs from my other RC cars.

I like working on RC's in my spare time, and did the upgrades out of pitty
for the truck, I didn't do it for performance.
However, It does not have lots of punch and speed, but it breaks drive
shafts here and there.
And at full Speed handling it is out of control!

If your really interested in RC cars, then "Move On" to a Hobby Level
vehicle.

If cash is a problem then take a look on Ebay or the LHS for used cars.
