The latest Tower *Speed Mart* catalog has it listed at $499.95.
Soooo, it looks like the highly touted BFT is FINALLY available for purchase.
All I can say is... it had BETTER live up to the hype, or it will prove
embarrassing for Associated.
In other words... if it doesn't chew up and spit out: T-Maxxes, HPI Savages,
Ofna Monster Pirates, Nitro Quakes, etc....
Team Associated wil have some 'splainin' to do.

ALSO it would be wise to wait until they have replacement parts readily
available in your LHS... I hate ordering parts through the mail.
As new owners venture out to see how:
Big, Fast, & Tough, this thing is, there will be lots-O'-broken parts.

FWIW, there's two of them on the shelves at my LHS, here in Chicago. I
asked about parts and the LHS called their distributor as a test. Every
part we asked for was in stock and could be had in one day maybe two
depending on UPS.

This move seems very late for Associated. They've got a lot going
against them:
-- They are well known for racing hardware, not for "fun" RC.
-- The BFT is mostly made by Thunder Tiger, and it's in direct
competition with Thunder Tiger's own trucks! How is Associated
supposed to make money on that deal?
-- They are already entering a very crowded market, with several new
monster trucks appearing in the last few months (Hot Bodies Dirt
Demon, Tamyia TNX, SportMaxx, Savage SS, etc). And of course there are
already lots of well-established names: T-Maxx, OFNA Dominator, Pirate
and Titan, HPI Savage...
I hope it works out, but honestly I don't see a lot of people
investing in a new monster truck platform, when there are so many
well-developed trucks already on the market.
