Hi, I have Inferno MP-5 in a very good condition, and planning to do
one of the following:

1- Purchase the $170 long wheelbase conversion set to boost the
handling (http://www.kyosho.com/accys/kyoc2867.html).

Or

2- Go for $750 MP-7.5 Kanai II.

Opinions please

Yes, but not much, maybe twice a year.

Theres also the MP7.5 Kanai 3 out just recently, might pay to check that out
too.

I personally have an MP6 and an MP7.5 Kanai 2 and the difference is huge...

As I understand the Long wheelbase conversion makes the MP-5 very
cloose to MP-6 International Version!

Hmmm, I've never actually driven or worked on an MP5, I have the instruction
manual though. It looks like there isn't a lot of difference between the MP5
and MP6 so maybe thats your better choice as there isn't much compatible
between the MP6 and MP7.5...

The fit, finish and quality of the parts in the Kanai 2 kit are incredible,
best kit I have built to this date.

Umm, thanks for the inputs, I think I should start saving $700 more to
consider the kanai 2 or 3 option.
