I just put the CVEC on my Maxx and I must say I was not that happy.
first off it does not fit around my roll cage.
second the body rubs a little.
Are there any other exhaust header and or mufflers that I can put on my
Original Tmaxx?

I got it on. I simply went to the hobby shop and bought a stock header and
mounted the CVEC in place of the stock muffler. I actually like this set-up
better.
Now to re-adjust the motor.

How is the performance?  Is it a 2.5?

No it's the 1.5.
With all the snow I have not had a chance to get it tuned.
I will let you know.
