Where can a newbie get info?

I want to learn about RC gearing, modding, and all that good stuff.

I checked out Misbehavin', and found alot of good info.
But when it comes to motor info, the site assumes some previous
knowledge.

Where can I find a "RC Cars for Dummies" site?  :-)
