Brake moves in same direction as throttle? Befuddled.

I'm putting together a Technokit TKT99E 1/5th scale car. I'm using a Futaba
3PK and Multiplex digital servos. The large scale steering servo works as
expected. I also have the third servo which operates the front disk brakes
working (also moving in the wrong direction). The trottle and rear brake are
on the same servo. I have the throttle adjusted and working fine (I've
checked the wiring too) but the brake moves in the same direction as the
throttle but not as far. I've been through the manual several times. I've
checked the FAQ on the Futaba site. No solution so far.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I will try to respond as best I can... a few things you said
dont make sense.
First, are you new to this? Have you ever built an RC car
from kit a before?
I think you mean that you have:
_One steering servo on one channel
     _Two servos on another channel,
        one for throttle/rear brake,
        and one for front brake

Hope I got that right.

So, Throttle/rear brake servo is easy.
Rotate one direction you get throttle advance.
Rotate other direction to apply rear brake.
Every gas/nitro car is done that way.
The front brake servo rotation cant be changed at the radio
without also chainging the rotation of the other servo on the same channel.
Some servos rotate opposite of other brands, but first:
I would try to use the other side of the servo horn... that means
grab the servo horn at 12 o'clock rather than 6 o'clock ect.
Pull rather than push the cables.

You can alter the travel (throw) of the servo two ways.
The radio you have has end point adjustments, the other way
it to locate your connection to the servo horn closer to the center
for less travel, farther from the center for more travel.
On the throttle, set the carb to open fully, then adjust the throw
for the brake as stated above. Or set the brake first, then the carb.

I hope this helps, also hope I am not insulting you by stating
things you already know.
If you still cant get it worked out, I suggest getting help from a
hobby shop or a friend who has done this before.
It is hard to help fix a problem when I dont know what the
problem really is.
I am admittedly guessing at the trouble, because I cant see it.

Hope this helps.

I found it. The ATL was set to 0. I set this to a positive number (the right
setting seems to be 90). The brake on the throttle/brake servo now moves in
the correct direction. Hurrah. I've also managed to set up the brake
blending feature on the 3PK so that the front brake servo brakes along with
the rear brake.

I was able to drive it today. That 22.5cc engine really has a kick! I'm
looking forward to adjusting to the car so I can give it more than a quarter
of throttle. :-)

Thanks John for your response.
