Hi, I'am in Australia and want to buy a new radio from overseas, Does anyone know what would be the best
Freqency to run on?? eg 27mhz, 40mhz, or 75mhz (75mhz Is supposed to be illegal in Australia but a few people
do use them), thanks.......

Well i just got a new JR XR2 And love it so far. Check it out on
http://www.horizonhobby.com/ the radio comes in 27MHz/75MHz both so you
could use it there and not get in trouble with the 75MHz.

Illegal? well maybe, but who's checking.
I live in Protugal, my two primary radios are both 75Mhz, I love the fact
that almost no one has 75mhz radios here, I've never had to change a crystal
in 3 years! of living here.
My buddy runs a 41MHz Radio (From France), which is also a good choice for
not having to change crystals.
Stay away from 27Mhz
If you Race or plan to, check with your Tracks to see if they allow "GUEST"
radios, (thats what they call my Illegal radio..... a 3 year guest?!?! :-)
Spells!
