Got my new electric Stampede yesterday, ran it once.

So I learned the hard way so far: e-clips, axle pins and 4mm lock
nuts.

Is there a FAQ or list of what other parts I should have with me at
all times?  No fun being stranded because of a lack of some tiny
little inexpensive part.

Racing we break bulkheads, arms, wheel hubs any part connecting wheels
to the arms, and the arms to the truck and also servos if you don't have
the servo saver set correctly. Spurs get stripped occasionally too.

I keep extras of all of the above, and my LHS can get most any of the
Team Associated parts they don't have in stock in one to two days.

Once you become a better driver you break less parts but you'll still
snap things every now and then.

For racing I always keep arms, spindles, caster blocks, hub carriers.
Basically everything I would need to rebuild any given part of the
suspension.  I also keep a set of shock towers on hand.  You can usually
find a box of screw sets for Losi and AE cars.  Not sure about Stampede
though. I've probably spent more on spares than the kit itself.

Muphy's law applies though.  Generally once you have the spare, it won't
break, I normally break the one part I *don't* have.

Good luck,

J
