Can't find the specs but I have a RC Car Action Buyers Guide from 1993
and here's what the text of the description. In 1993 they also list
these Tekin models:

410K, 410S, 411G, 420F, 610R

Here's the copy for the 408S:

"This high performance, budget, forward/brake ESC replaces the servo,
wiper, resister, receiver battery, switch and associated wiring with a
compact, easy-to-install, prewired plugin unit. The 408S provides
smooth, proportional throttle control from a slow crawl to wide open. It
has fuse and thermal=overload protection, BEC, matched heat
sinks, universal radio plugs and the latest regenerating high-frequency
operation for great performance. In fact the Tekin 408S is now a
national Champion.

Part#: TSC 408S
Price: $102.00

this guy has some of the manuals for Tekin products, not the 408 but the
info may still be helpful:

Knowing that the 408 says it has thermal protection, and that you'll
probably get the unit for really really cheap why not just keep trying
motors until the 408 shuts down?

Does it use a zero loss solder-drop fuse?

If so you just resolder it back together with a little bit of solder.

back in 90 somthin i ran my 408 down to a n 11 turm single, ran very hot
but never blew a fuse, if you do though you can use a mini buss fuse of
you ream out the hole and bend the pins carefully and use e-tape or
rubberbands and luck to hold it in
