o.k., a stripped buttom head is the problem. i need to replace it, bu
in the parts breakdown it show some shims (2 required), four bolts
so-on. i need to know if i can re-use the old shims, what to torque th
bolts at if needed, is there any gaskets needed though none are in th
parts breakdown, and where to get a good engine repair manual for futu
specs, etc. you don't know how much your help will be appreciated

Wont be a problem using the same shims. I have reused them plenty of times
(even on the force .25) as long as they aren't damaged such as being bent
and/or creased.
I never torqued any heads or buttons down, and haven't had any problems. As for
gaskets, there aren't any, other than the copper one for the glo-plug.
Good Luck, Gene
