Hi People,

Apologies if this is a stupid question. I have a Tamiya XBG/TGS which has
been a lot of fun so far (touch wood:-) although it is no speed machine I'm
having fun with it.

I would like to get a different body shell, preferably an unfinished one, in
a different shape to the one I currently have (Mercedes CLK).

Can someone tell me what I should be looking for - 190 , 200 mm what should
I be getting?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, "XBG" stands for "expert built gas". If so, I'd be
looking at 200mm bodies. 190mm are for electric.

You are correct, sir- I misspoke. Everyone else follows the maxim of
electric=190mm, gas=200mm except for Tamiya. I actually have an older
TA03F-Pro electric that even 190mm bodies are too wide for, so I try to run
wheels with some offset to make up for the narrow track width.

Thats ok everybody makes a little mistake once in a while. I am actuall
getting a TG10 tomorrow night it will be the Porsche cup car, I can'
wait I got a XB car for christmas and I want a gas car so I had to wai
a little while before I could get the electric exchanged. It also cam
from my girlfriend in Japan so it made it a little more interesting t
exchange
