Hello All

I am just starting and have been looking around for my first car.
I have set my eye on a Tamiya Wild Dagger. Its use will be for bashing
around.

I want to complement this with a Futaba 2PHKA
As far as I can tell (from http://www.futaba-rc.com/radios/futj13.html)
it is available in different packages. A package with 2 servos and a
package which contains an ESC (MC230CR)

As I plan on using an ESC with the Wild Dagger would the MC230CR be able
to handle the 2 motors in this car or should I buy a seperate ESC?

If I need to buy a seperate ESC can anybody recommend something from
this page http://www.netshop.nl/shop/rc/nl/dept_125.html.
This is from the shop where I plan to buy the whole package
(they might have more in the actual shop but I want the be a bit
informed beforehand)

If someone can recommend a charger from this page
http://www.netshop.nl/shop/rc/nl/dept_126.html it will also be
appreciated.

I am a complete newby so any advice is appreciated.

Thank you,

Donnie Roos

the 230CR will not be quite enough to handle 2 motors if this truck is
going to be bashed, use an esc with with somewhere around a 10 Turn
limit. The radio and other stuff looks good and a cheap charger is all
you really need.

And if your really interested, I have a used wild dagger with
everything but the receiver and transmitter that I can sell to you if
your in the continental US. Good luck man.

I have a wild dagger and swapped the mechanical SC for an ESC , all i had to
do was make up some Y leads to split the output to the two motors.

Personally i would buy a ESC that will cope with motors better than 27turns
the Mtroniks Sport RV has done ok for me with 2 17 turn motors the dagger
starts to get quite quick !
