G'Day all,

After a heated discussion with the Mrs over 1:1 scale cars (I
currently have 4!) I've been "asked" to get rid of one car.

In the process of negotiations for sale of said vehicle, I got her to
agree that I could get a top end electric stadium truck, to ease the
pain of losing a car ;)

I have approx AUD$1,000 to spend, and want a kick a.s car, not
necessarily to race, but something to be able to modify & make
*really* fast.

* It has to be stadium truck,
* I really would prefer a kit (ie. I want to build it too)
* Ability to take stick packs preferable.

I like the look of the Matt Francis truck.. but those colours. yuk!

or possibly something in the T4 series from associated.

What say you?

Cheers,

Ben.

The coloured parts on the Matt Francis can be replaced :

A-4118 Front Bumper, Motor Guard, & Body Mounts (Black) (XXX) $6.50

A-4119 Front Bumper, Motor Guard, & Body Mounts (Yellow) (XXX/T) $6.50

A-4120 Front Bumper, Motor Guard, & Body Mounts (Blue) (XXX/T) $6.50

NEW A-4121 Front Bumper, Motor Guard & Body Mounts (Red)(XXX-T) $6.50

(taken from their website at http://www.teamlosi.com )

As there was recently an updated XXX buggy release (BK2) - there may be an
update performed on the truck chassis as well.

Either it or the T4 would be an excellent choice. There are plenty of
hop-ups available for each.

Oh, and a Novak SS5800 brushless system and a XS3 Synthesized radio. No
maintenance and no frequency conflicts! I'm running that setup myself, but
on a regular XXXT because I don't need the extra breakage one gets with
"carbon-graphite composite" parts...

Actually I've switched all the gear over to an old beefed-up RC10T2 because
I still break parts like there's no tomorrow.

(lol)

Aussie to American, 1000 AUD= 775.00 US.

FWIW, there's only one T4 product available now, the kit.

Sounds like you want speed, and the ability to go even faster later.

Here's my suggestion:

T4

Airtronics Mx-3 radio system

Hitec 645MG servo (use the airtronic servo that comes with radio as
backup)

Quantum Pro Reverse ESC. LRP8430

Dynamite Twin Peak Charger

Two Dynamite or the new Reedy, GP3300 sport stick packs.
