Hello everyone,

My name is Jerry and I am writing from the frozen northern Wisconsin area, I
need some help from all of you buggy and stadium truck owners. I am in the
process of creating a Dirt Late Model that is utilizing components from the
Team Associated 1/10 class of vehicles(RC10GT and RC10B4/3). What I need are
the measurements of the control arms of both types. Measurements needed are
length from chassis mounting to front carrier bolt holes on the control arms
and the width of the chassis mounting inside only of the control arms. The
goal for this late model is to get the stadium truck 2.2" tire to fit under
a body that is a little over 9" wide. The other designer is working on using
RS4 technology but has been running into some problems with getting pieces
to fit together. Also if anyone has the On-road version(TC3) those
measurements would be helpful also. I appreciate any help that can be
offered and as soon as we have one running I will post the pics for all to
see.

TIA

Jerry

The nomenclature you are using isn't clear to me.

If you go to associated's website and get the PDF drawing files of the
specific car, and use the actual part numbers for reference I'd guess
you'd get more accurate feedback.

I have a T3 and a T4 that I could measure for you but would need
something like this:

"What is the distance of part 7253 from the outer most portion of the
chassis to the wheel hub 6781?"

Using "control arm" as a descriptor throws me. The metal rods that
control the steering to the wheels are called "turnbuckles".

www.rc10.com  ....look for the parts link.
