Imagine this, you hand the transmitter to your friend.
Tell him to take it slow and stay out of the street.
Your friend nails full throttle and goes right into traffic.
Of course, your perfect XXT gets hit by a Lexus.
The entire front end is flattened.
This is what I want to buy!

I want the chassis and rear suspension of an old worn out, tired
and sloppy XXT or XXXT. No tranny needed. No wheels or
axle shafts needed.

It is for a non-truck project.

If you have anything like this, post here and I will give you a good
E mail address so we can talk.

Thanks,
John

P.S. Yes I have been on EBay.

This kinda stuff happens all the time.
I have gotten to the point that I never even MENTION my RC's around certain
people.
I have thought of keeping a real beater around, just to let other people drive.

If someone INSISTS on driving one of my RC's... I simply say, "Play If you
MUST... PAY if you BUST"
Sometimes that will change their minds.
I have had friends and kids wreck too many of my cars, so I feel I'm left with
no other choice.
If it is a fellow RC buddy, that's different.
If someone has demonstrated the ability to drive, I am a little more easy about
it.
It would be nice to show someone  how cool these things are, but NOBODY seems
content to simply watch. Sooner or later they're gonna ask you to let them take
over the controls. And of course you KNOW they're gonna crash the thing.
So here's the problem... if you say "no" you're a prick, if you say "yes"
you're gonna end up with a busted-up RC. So it's just better not even bring 'em
out.
I  do enough damage to my RC's on my own, and I ain't a bad driver.
