Anybody own a Sportmaxx here? I was just wondering how it handles compared
to a T Maxx. That's a lot of power going to just the back wheels. I bet it
does some sick donuts!

I got one when they first came out.
The only real difference between the T Maxx and the Sport in the
handling area are you have to get off the throttle a little more to turn
in hard. I love mine, I did put in the two speed tranny but not the reverse.
I just converted mine to a Six wheeler, so, I guess it is 4 wheel
drive now. Still no power to the front wheels though.
I say get one, Set up right, they can handle much like a stadium truck.

I've got a little stick time on a SportMaxx; I think it drives like a
big stadium truck or something. A little quicker off the line.
There's also a free 2speed thing going on for SportMaxx:

Went up sometime this week. I watch the homepages of all the major
players (ofna, Associated, Losi, Traxxas, etc) every day for tidbits
like this.
For example, Losi has annonced an H2-like body for the Mini-T:

Digression: Losi is putting a lot more money into Mini-T accessories
production than I would have thought. This means to me that they
think it's going to be a longterm seller rather than a fad. I hope
so; I like mine. I'd like some inexpensive oil shocks, though.
I really need to switch to decaf.
