Hi People,

I have a Kyosho Inferno Sports and I have a question about priming the
engine. THe manual states that you should "remove the air cleaner" and place
2 or 3 drops of fuel straight into the carbi venturi.

I would MUCH prefer to be able to mount the air filter more permanently (ie
with a zip tie) but is there some other way to prime the engine? There is no
"push pump" mounted on the tank.

Is there some other way to start the engine without pulling the air filter
off?

aGrateful for  any suggestions!

My nephews car does not have an air filter on it for general running (it
does have one but he doesn't use it) priming via the venturi works everytime
for him, even his mates are jealous at how quickly and how often he gets his
car started compared to theirs...the other way is to take the gowplug out
and prime that way but it is a lot more fiddly and time consuming.
My nephews car does have an air filter but it is easily removed and replaced
for priming.

Regards.......Mark

Plug the exhaust with your finger and turn the engine over a few times.
You'll see the fuel pass through the line and stop when it hits the carb.

You can place you finger tip on the exhaust exit and then crank th
engine over a couple times, just keep an eye on the fuel as it come
through the fuel line and maybe give it a couple extra after it gets t
the carb
