I've been scouring the internet for some time and the only place I'm
able to find tires/wheels for the Original (gold tub) RC10 is on Ebay.
This would be fine, but there is only one set right now!  Does anybody
have any suggestions on a good replacement setup??  I'm interested in
both onroad and offroad tires/wheels; I've found the wheels on
towerhobbies.com (specifically: LX2446 Associated Rear RC10 Wheel 2.175"
(2) and LX3456 Associated B2/B3 2.2 Front Rims (2)) |or|  LXM891 HPI SS
Off-Road Rear Wheel White RC10 (2)  and LXM886 HPI SS Off-Road Universal
Wheel Front White (2)).  The problem is that I can't find tires for the
above rims; at least I can't find tires that are the 'same' size.  So
the question may be more specifically - what tires would fit these rims.

Regardless, I'm interested in hearing what other vintage RC10 owners are
doing about their degrading tire selection!

Thanks

PS - I bought the car on Ebay, so I don't know much about it and I've
only had it for a couple of months so I'm fairly new to this :-)

PPS - the local hobby shop told be to look on EBay as they don't want to
or don't care to stock parts for a twenty year old car (gee, I wonder why!)

go to a different hobby shop if they aren't willing to help. there are several
wheel/tire combos that you can get that will fit on the car

I ended up with the ones off of Ebay - I have to stop into the local
hobby shop to get street tires, or just wait for the end of winter
when I can run it on something other then pavement :-)
