I've got a 16-turn quint (80 winds) in my T3 race truck. I drive in a
mix of poor-to-medium traction conditions, so the mild acceleration
and smooth power band provide really consistent performance.

The motor is a handwound Reedy Fury. They were selling them a couple
of years ago for $35 on the Associated web site.
