I am really new to RC. I've been messing around with some toy stuff, and
what have you but wasn't getting anywhere. So I bought a Futaba kit with the
transmitter, servos and reciever. I also bought a second servo and quickly
ran into a problem. It may be because I am new but the manual has no
dimensional data for the the servos.
I guess the engineering tech in me is taking over. I wanted to begin
drawing up plans for a RC hovercraft. So I wanted to know how wide, long,
and high the servos were. I also wanted to know what the center to center
distance between the servos mounting houls were. I can not find anything in
the documentation that came with the kit, or on the net.
Any one got a set of specs, or can point me to some place other than the
Futaba site ( which didn't have the mounting spec info I need) where I can
get some specs?

Well Dirk, I don't know,
been thinking about changing my handle for a while now.
Maybe this is a good time to get a fresh start.

Don't go doing such a thing without thinking it through. How will internet
acquaintances know it's you?
I mean, imagine if BurntKat started posting here again, but under another
name? Or Bubba? Think of the consequences!
We'd have to go through another 6 months of flame-wars before everything
calmed down...
BTW, I've been known by a few different handles myself- stratosrally, 2.
Label Influence, !bungle, and possibly a few others.

For years I used Outlook Express and had several on-screen names.
It was real easy to have multiple profiles,
"Dirtnap" in Land and Misc. groups.
Fake E Mail address, hoping to limit my daily Spam intake.
"FinalReproach" in the Air, Soaring, and Heli groups and my signature had my
AMA number and a legitimate E Mail address.
I "upgraded" to Microsoft Outlook and cant figure how to have multiple
profiles, for some reason it's easy on a network but not at home.
So I might have to settle for one handle for all. Dirtnap was a nickname
I earned mountain biking, never really applied here. I assume it turned-off
a few of the older guys in the aircraft group, there are more than a few
well known gentlemen over there. I bet they thought I was some cocky
young kid, even though I'm 39. I really don't know what to do.
