I was just wondering if top drivers in this buisness (Billy Easton,
Francis, Kinwald, etc...) get paid, or if this is just their hobby
that they get free cars to race.  Also, if they do get paid, how much,
if you have any idea.  This was originally a question brought up by
someone outside of the hobby, but it go me wondering.  Thanks y'all

Yes, they are employed by the companies that make the cars &
accessories. Some simply get sponsorship incentives for winning races,
while others are actually on the payroll as "Quality Assurance
Technicians" or somesuch.

No idea. I doubt they would discuss it.

It's only rumor, but I've heard that guys like Kinwald can make as
much as $50,000 per year, between the R&D work, race incentives &
ryalties from the parts that bear their names.
