Model Forum / Radio Controlled / Land Models / March 2004Which one should I start with??
I am new to this. i am looking at buying my first gas powered remote car.This will not be for competition racing. It will be for just racing with my friends and for just messing around and jumping. I am looking for a well built car that can take a little abuse and that will be upgradeable. I was thinking my first car should be an rtr. A few of the cars I have been considering are the 9.5 VIOLATOR,the HYPER 7 PBS and maybe with the PCR upgrade or a preesmbled HYPER 7 PRO. Does anyone know the difference between all these models and what is everyone's suggestions? Are there other vehicles I should be looking at? Thanks, Ken gamma.god@verizon.net My very first nitro vehicle was a Rustler made by Traxxas. I thought it was a good nitro rc truck to start with, a lot of lhs carry the oem and hop up parts. I have a RTR Kyosho Inferno MP7.5 and that seems like a pretty good piece of gear for just mucking about.
