Hasbro flash racer problem?

I have just bought a fire blazer flash racer from Hasbro(wowwee), this is
the car that is covered in flashing lights that display in heaps of
different patterns. Anyhow the problem is that the car will not drive
straight, it drifts off to the left all the time, is this typical?
The car turns by having the wheels on one side of the car go faster than the
other so I presume my car is drifting because the wheels are not calibrated
to exactly the same speed when no turn control is applied. So if this is a
problem with all these cars then does anybody know if there is an east
calibration inside the car to get the wheels going at the same speed, maybe
just a resistor potentiometer that can be turned to calibrate? I would
really like to get this sorted as if the car drive straight it would be so
much better, as it is it is very difficult to control.

Thanks

menu option you can select a video clip of this car in action

Most RC cars have a little mechanical trimmer on the bottom...even those
little cheapies from Rat Shack have them.

Thanks but not these ones, remember the steering operates by speed
differential not a turning rack.
