Hi all,

I have just bought a brand new Futaba 3PK from Hong Kong as the price was
good but i have question regarding a certain channel number.
If i'm correct in thinking, the UK channels start at 40.655 but mine is
actually 40.650 so is this legal to use as it appears to be very close to
655 & i don't want to have co channel inteference with anyone.

Further to my first response, perhaps it is a simple matter of just changing
the crystals to one of the uk-legal channels.

40.660 is the lowest legal channel, but is unlikely to be available as a
crystal.  If you just run locally and 'play' then it's unlikely, but still
possible, you'll get caught and prosecuted, and also unlikely you'll get
interference.

However, if you turn up at a BRCA sanctioned race meeting you won't be
allowed to use that frequency, and may well be asked to leave and not return
.. ;)

Thanks everyone,
I guess i will go & buy some suitable crystals assuming that i won't need my
equipment calibrating as someone mentioned to me.
