I just saw this on display at Hannants. As I had my five year old son in tow
I didn't have the chance to take a look, so anyone got their hands on one
yet? Looked impressive enough, price seemed OK at £29.99 too.
So should I buy one? I can't see it getting built for a long time, but
that's no good reason for not buying.....
Cheers,
Bill.

I hope I am not breaking the rules but I am opening a new model shop
in Ipswich Suffolk, UK this weekend. We have the Me 262 in stock at
£29.99 and can ship free of postage. Call us on 01473 464311.

It comes with some photo etched parts plus whitemetal landing gear and
two decal options. It does look to be well cast.

good luck. i mean that

I help out occ in my local model shop, but i often see replies to emails
that can take days to answer, even if you dont know the answer  a
aknowladgment would be good.   I have contacted a couple of shops recently
trying to get some Mig resin bits, but i didnt get a reply and still waiting
2 month later.  Even if they couldnt get it a quick reply would have been
good.

Thanks

We already have an existing craft shop with an active internet shop
and we have laid down some rules for that:

1. Everything you see on the site is in stock
2. If we do mess up with the stock, we always over compensate the
customer with a small freeby as well as a refund
3) 10% discount against our normal shop price
4. In the post within 1 working day
5. No delivery charges (except for some of the really heavy paper
products - which will not occur with models)
6. Always answer e-mails within 3 hours

For SBX Model Shop we can add an extra one.

7. Offer a back order system that can deliver what you want within 5
working days - even if we don't have it (provided we can source it).

We are only 50 miles from Hannants so we have to do better than them -
which means using them for stocking but beating them on price and with
free deliveries.  - BTW IPMS members get that 10% in the shop as well!

The Model shop stocks a wide range of manufacturers - not just the
popular ones, full stock of Xtracrylix, Tamiya and Humbrol, and lots
of the little items you need.

We also have some OOP kits, mostly FAA plus some old mags and
newspapers.

Still getting the details together. I will have it all ready for early
next week. Send me private e-mail and I will send you a list - its not
that exciting but we are trying.

well mistakes happen, its how you deal with it rather than freebies etc.

cool!

thats good, even next day is ok.  my local hobby shop specialises in train
thingies and if someone asks a technical question they get no reply until
Sat, the only day hes in.
