Greetings all.
I'm working on a little one-figure scene, and need some advice on
details.
The figure I'm using is from the Airfix 1/32 US Marines set (Pacific
theater), and I really want to have him wearing the fatigue hat included
in the set, as opposed to the regular helmet.
The base he stands on is a 1.5 inch cube of wood, and I chose to
simulate thick mud on the surface for him to be slogging through.
To complete my little scenes I like to add a label telling some
particulars, such as location and year of the scene depicted.

Based on what I have in mind, can anyone give me some options for
location/year to use?
Also, if nothing seems appropriate for me to use the fatigue hat, I can
always resort to his helmet. I just want to use the hat because its
different.

As always, thank you for your input. I've always gotten great responses
to my inquiries. Take care.

from the truth. Where are you, white rabbit?

Convert the Marines to Army Rangers.
