Not to worry.  The culprit behind the sporge, Leslie "TheApostle"
Paulin, is a real life loser who can't afford to pay his own way on
the Internet.  He freely admits to being used as a pawn by his King,
Chris "akula" Caputo.  He does so in order to gain (and maintain)
Internet and Usenet access.

Chris gave the order to sporge and Leslie obeyed.  Why does Leslie
obey Chris like a neutered dog?  Because his ISPs and a slew of NSPs
are all provided for him by his King, Chris "akula" Caputo.

Who is "akula"?  He is the formerly semi-rich, spoiled brat owner of
the failing NSP known as Altopia.net.  Chris suffers from severe
emotional/psychological problems that have reduced him to being a
Drama Queen given to extreme hyperbole and lying.

Instead of just managing his NSP like a normal news admin, he has
thrown himself into the fray with the rest of us on Usenet.  Why, you
may ask?  Simple!  He's a Drama Queen and is unable to control his
abnormal urge to feel needed and accepted.

As such, Chris has allowed himself to become the legitimate target of
scorn and ridicule...something that his fragile ego cannot handle.
Hence, when the heat against him becomes too hot, or he just decides
to throw a temper tantrum, because what the heck...he's a spoiled
brat...he puts out the word to his stooge, Leslie "TheApostle" Paulin,
and the sporge begins.

Chris would never dirty his hands directly by conducting the sporge
himself.  No, no, no!  That's for the lesser among us - the
underlings.  But the master of deceit _will_ be the first to come
forward and start waving his hands in the air in an attempt to blur
the picture about who is _really_ to blame.

So, while Leslie Paulin himself is a very sick individual, it's the
person who is pulling Leslie's strings that is the REAL sicko.  Search
as Mikel may want, he will not find any info that will lead him to
Leslie, the one who did the sporge.

Why?  Because the account Leslie used was either paid for by Chris
Caputo, using a money order and false info, or the account was a proxy
set up by Chris and made available to Leslie.  So, try as Mikel's
inside friend may try, I doubt there is much he can uncover.

As a news admin, Chris Caputo is no dummy when it comes to hiding his
identity and covering his tracks (including those of his pawns), even
though he's a stupid moron for jumping into the Usenet fray many years
ago and thereby causing his NSP to fail.

Something he now deeply regrets, and why he throws his "sporge temper
tantrums" from time to time, via his pawn, Leslie "TheApostle" Paulin.
