Our Frecnh suppliers have just taken on Alanger. By the look of some
of these they are Frog recycled - again!

Does anyone know anything about this make?

Spoke too soon. The web site I was using to see the range dropped me
into eastern express instead - Sorry about that.

Alanger seem to make a range of tanks and 1/48 scale aircraft. Does
anyone have any experience of them. Should we be stocking them?

In the US Alanger carries the old ICM 1/48th kits. Good prices although the
service is sometimes spotty. I believe they used to "mass market" on e-bay.

I believe the armor may be Maquette (sp).

Last year or so it was mentioned in this group that Alanger of
Massachusetts had purchased all the Frog molds from Eastern Express or
whoever owned them. Do they actually own the molds or are they
importing the finished kits from EE?

I think that there are two entities here. Alnger in the US seems to be
a reseller of eastern Express. I am just about to post some box shots
on alt.binaries.models.scale. Have a look there and see if any of
these look familiar.

They also sell ICM and PST kits (the latter doesn't ring a bell). They don't
seem to have the whole Eastern Express line, for example the 1/72 Yaks which
are reboxed Dakoplast kits (and pretty decent). If you're interested in
Eastern Express and other Russian kits, Aviapress.com also has a bunch:

PST does 1/72 scale injection molded miltary vehicles.

Three German, on American and a bunch of Russian. Most unusual are
their Russian miltary fire trucks.

The Alanger 1/35th scale armor and figure kits are reboxed ICM kits
acquired after ICM appeared to have gone under, and are quite decent
products, certainly as good or better than Zvezda. Now that ICM has
resurrected itself with its new Panther tank kits and figure line, it
isn't clear which company will have the older molds.
Don't know about their aircraft.

You can read about the company history - and its products - on the
Alanger website at :- http://www.alanger.ru/

the tb3 is ex icm, i have been told.
it is an excellent kit, though many small parts and complex
assemblys require diligence. it looks like a tb3.
