Can anyone recommend a mail order source of sheet plastic, plastic
strips of various widths, etc. for use in doing kit conversions?
Squadron Shop apparently no longer handles this type of product. TIA

If there is a GE Polymers retail branch in your town they cater to
contractors but will be happy to sell to anyone. Full sheets only
though. I can't recall the dimensions but they are 4ft x 8ft or
smaller. Their price is a lot cheaper than from the hobby shop or
some other plastics fabrication shop. If your requirements are modest
ask for their offcuts and scraps. I get a pretty good supply of
freebies that way on the transparent stuff.

Walthers, the model railroad supply company, has ALL of the major types
and brands, especially Evergreen and Plastruct plus lots of little
goodies for detailing. Their catalog is not cheap ($22.95) but it's
1000+ pages long and worth every cent.
Also they have a web site you can check out.
