Naw, I keep my clothes on outside. ;)

Seriously, I do tend to keep unusual stamps that come my way.  I don't
tend to think of it as 'collecting' in the classic sense.

Um, look what happens when you're so busy being cute...
Philatelists collect stamps.  Numismatists collect money, coins
specifically, I believe.
Oy!

I tend to hang on to old stuff - older silver dollars, quarters,
dimes...and I have a small collection of wheat pennies myself.

And I'm into the States quarters craze...and the new nickels...so maybe
I do have a problem...

i buy wheats.... and silver.
state quarters will not have much value for about 500 years.
wait till the presidential series starts. it will dwarf the
quarter program. and once again the mint will kill the
commemaritive market by releasing too much. just like the
40's-50's.
morons.
look for a penny change on 09.

Have to agree with you there - the mint seems to be flooding us with new
designs of late.  Seems like every time I turn around there's a new
nickel coming out.  I'm collecting my quarters out of circulation...more
for the fun of it than anything else.  My real prize is my 1889 New
Orleans mint Morgan head silver dollar that I picked up from somewhere
when I was a kid.  And my silver halves - few that they are.  All my
stuff is circulated, so I keep it more for sentiment than value.

i learned from my grandfather. so i collect early halves by
overton varietys and large cents by sheldon varietys.
heritage is selling a cent collection i would almost kill
for. includes a unique die variety of 1797.

It has been about 50 years since the backside was changed.
When did the nickel change from the Indian to Jefferson?  I used to see
those when I was a child.

09. both were issued and both are some of the rarest
variety's. you know about the svdb's but also the 09s indian
is rare. i bought both in the 60's and overpaid. 65 and 105
bucks respectively. i did make the money back. both are now
in slabs.
