Hi All,

Has anybody worked with Royal Models update set for Dragon's
Ferdinand? I know that it includes PE and resin but it seems quite
expensive. Is the set worth the cost? Do the resin parts justify the
added cost over Aber or Eduard's PE sets? What does the resin
replace/improve?

Thanks in advance for any info!

Scott,
I would not use the Royal set.  Not worth the price.  I have put on my
kit the aber detail set, aber fender set and aber gun.  I also replaced
the tracks but that isn't really needed.  The aber stuff is the best
way to go.

Thanks for the response Mike. I was kind of leaning toward the Royal
set for the resin bits but was afraid that it wouldn't be worth the
price. Thanks for confirming that for me.

I do have another question about the Aber barrel now that you
mentioned it. It looks kind of complex (I viewed the instructions on
their web site).  Any suggestions on that? How does the Eduard barrel
stack up to it? Are both of them the correct length? Any input on this
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,

Scott
