Does anybody know what became of the Yak-9 that used to be on display at the
Champlin Fighter Museum in Tempe, AZ? Also, are there any photos of that
plane to be found on the web or anywhere else? When I saw it in Tempe, I
remember reading on the placard that the Russians had restored and painted
it in line with research into "authentic" colors. It'd be interesting to see
what they did with the two-gray camo scheme.
Thanks!

Well, I just realized it was Mesa, not Tempe, and I just found some pictures
as well. I'm happy to see that the Champlin collection apparently lives on
at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, so there I go, answering my own
questions again.

Why, yes, it is!

There's an ex-wife for those times I feel the need for aggravation and
humiliation. :)

I hear the milk is delicious, but it is difficult to keep the mats out of
their coats. Make lovely pets, hard to housebreak, though.
