I saw the following news item today on http://www.sci-fi-online.com and
was wondering if anyone knows whether it's worth bidding on this
Thunderbirds puppet.

There is a link through to an auction on eBay. Anyone bought from this
seller before and do you know if their puppets are as great quality as
they claim?

It's only a replica so not worth a lot even if great quality and the
seller is the nicest person on planet Earth.  You want the real thing
with a certificate from Gerry Anderson!  So, even after many years of
looking at it in its case and you are so used to seeing the damn thing,
at least you can say "at least it's rhe real thing and I can sell it for
loads!"

Anyway, in the standards I read somewhere many years ago, a replica
would have at least needed someone who worked on the originals to have
had some input on it for it to be a replica, otherwise it's only a copy.

Richard.
