How about the 8 year old who bagged his 7 year old playmate at a day care
center here in suburban Washington DC; used his Dad's 38 cal handgun.

And Daddy, as a convicted felon, is not allowed to have a gun, according
to law.

Only inside the District, from what I understand. Folks outside the
Beltway are at least as free as the rest of us...Arizonans and Nevadans
withstanding...
...and unless you're in Texas - there, even a convicted fellon has a
right to own a handgun to defend his property, as long as it never
leaves his property. At least that's how it was when I lived there.

Mike,
Your stories are historic and of epic proportions. I think you should open a
special section in the Lone Star Models web page so we can go there and enjoy
them whenever we need some insight or enlightenment.
Cheers and welcome back,

nope, not interested in your animal love stories. It suffice to imagine you
running around in the woods bare assed. Not a very tasteful sight for sure
so no details needed.
Mike West - 23 Jan 2006 19:52 GMT
Well not totally in the buff, I do cary a big knife!

Your "knife" undoubtedly is big. But I think this group is not the place for
you to write down the details of your hunting stories. Kids are reading this
group too you know..

Aw get a grip. There isn't anything in any of my stories too bad for the
kids to read. Not near as gory as the video games they play. Besides if you
didn't realize, it was a JOKE!
I really doubt there are that many "kids" reading this news group anyway.
M Stanley - 23 Jan 2006 23:09 GMT
Besides the original post suggested that Mike add these stories to his
website not post them here. I for one think they would be great on his site.

Nah, the only one who still thinks of me as a kid is my mother. :)

Sir, If ever I should see a kid watching video's of bare assed men with
large "knives" chasing deer, I would call the police or a social worker. No
joke. As for the kids, a great many of the physically grown ups in this
group are mentally still kids. Some of them even admit it themselves. They
may not be able to cope with your stories either.

Might I suggest that Mike put "hunting stories" in the subject line &
if you or anyone else chooses not to read them, (or hear them, however
that might occur), simply DO NOT OPEN THE POSTS! My 2 cents.

I wish Mike would post some hunting stories "just because"...and put
anything you wish in the subject line, Mike.

Well, If Mike puts a question in the subject line I think he is entitled to
have an answer. If he doesn't like the answer then it is his problem. Not
yours, nor mine.

Actually, I really don't care about the answer one way or the other. Your
response was what I expected and received. Mission accomplished!
Now back to our regularly scheduled modeling stuff.

Frank, What a concept! Funny how so many open something that offends them,
read it and then complain. No one mad them open or read the post. There will
always be those like this. I wasn't planning on nposting any stories. Guess
I shouldn't have but I haven't been on this group for a while and was just
having some fun with the tree huggers.
