I'm working on a boeing atm, and the instructions call for "boeing
grey" and "coroguard grey" - does anyone know which paints would match
those? preferably Tamiya if possible, but any brand will do. TIA

Boeing grey is a very light grey similar to FS 16515, Xtracolor X150
Xtracolor also make Boeing grey X 301
See http://sandlehobbies.com/paint/xtracolorcivilair.html

Coroguard is not any one colour. Coroguard is a carrier with a certain
amount of aluminium powder mixed into it just prior to application, so
each application of the "paint" is unique. In adition, it shows different
hues in different lighting conditions. Look at

(sorry about the line wrap)
Note how the coroguard on the near wing looks dark, while the far wing
looks much lighter. Airliners.net is your best resource for what
airlinerws look like in the Real World : )
Testors Steel (in the little square bottle) gives a reasonable facsimile
of coroguard , but really any bare dark aluminium colour would do.

Decals are available for Corroguard panels, for specific aircraft.
Also, Boeing Aircraft Grey is available from a couple of companies
(don't recall which - I have a couple of tins from long ago). Check
