Has anyone seen this in the flesh yet? Any views?

We managed to get one which sold immediately.

Its big - the sprues are VERY thick. There are two huge white sprues
and a couple of pieces of transparency floating in the pack. The
instructions seem to be photocopied.

The moulding seems to be quite clean and the panel lines are not deep.
The decals look to be in register.

(All of this is looks - seems, etc.  because I am not opening the
sealed bag as its on its way to a customer).

I understand that the whole of the first production run was sold in
about 4 days and we were lucky to even get one for the shop. There is
another run promised but I don't know when its coming.

Hope that helps.

PS the box says that there is an atomic bomb inside. I am hoping that
it doesn't detonate whilst the kit is still in my shop!

The general consensus here is that a Mach2 kit IS a bomb.
Note: I don't especially concur.

a friend of mine [whose father flew in valiants] tells me that the
decal sheet is not very good
as are the transparencies [not very transparent]. apart from that its a
reasonable kit.
