The Paramount Mu-2 is the Otaki kit. First time that I have seen the
Paramount boxing.

I haven't seen any Paramount boxes in a long time. I think the last one
was a YS-11 kit.

Thanks! I wondered what the origin of that mold was. I was surprised
to find that Paramount was a US company, actually.

While I am not disagreeing with the seller, I have several Paramount
kits that were made in Montreal Canada. They included the submersibles
Alvin and Trieste, the Japanese manned torpedo Kaiten, as well as the
Mu-2, the YS-11 and a bunch of Second World War fighters of dubious
quality.
Once when visiting the first SWMBO's parents up there, I toured the
factory (where I made most of my scores).
Of course, that was back in 1971, so they might have packed up and
moved, anything's possible.
