I have been reading up on the details of the two battleships Musashi &
Yamato with the aim of eventually building very realistic models of them .

Were the decks on appearance yellow linoleum ( as I have read , and if so
what type of yellow ?) or some type of wood ( If so which kind/color ?) .

I  know the decks of the two ships were not identical in appearance as well
as area .( i.e. the non-metal decks ) . One ship might have had a linoleum
deck

and the other wood . Is this correct ?

Can anyone elaborate if they know ? Thanks
