I just found a mention of the Farley Fruitbat. Does that mean we will soon
have a kit of one?

Did it ever wear a swastika? If yes, count on it.

And... more on topic... the Gloster Aircraft company was originally called

I heard that Starfix is coming out with a kit of it in 1/144th.
And matchbox was going to years ago,but since the 1/1 Fruitbat had no
panel lines, the trenchmaker refused to build a master.

Read a review of a Matchbox kit in a British aviation weekly many years ago
which congratulated the company on its restraint with the panel lines and
suggesting that "old groovy" must have been on holiday when the mould was
commissioned :o)

With Williams Brothers coming back under new ownership I think that
it's fair to expect a highly details Fruitbat in the ever popular 1/41
scale.
Did the Israelis ever use it? If so I'll be a few. Hell, I'll buy more
than that if it pisses off the creep, especially if they produce it in
Israel, too.
