The vehicle looks very nicely assembled and finished, though it is a
very clean vehicle, perhaps operating on paved roads in a built-up area
rather than on dirt roads.
The figure needs to lose the shine on its finish. Nubby woolen uniforms
should be dead matte in appearance, leather bits should have a very
subtle sheen for a soldier in the field. And his sideburns look more
1968 than 1942.

Thanks for the insight Gerald. I am afraid I have been interested in
building only, not much knowledge on the actual history.  :-)
