There have been many previous threads on RTV or resin casting, one not
very long ago. I might immodestly mention an article I did in FSM a
couple of years ago :-)
Not sure which arguments you used in your google search, but try
again, use;
casting, resin, molds, and maybe rtv.

Thanks. Using the above keywords, I found Tap Plastics that have some
instructional videos for their product, but I believe I have got the
idea from that.

Yes. The more specific your keywords the better. Remember that
scratchbuilding is not a single technique, but a collection of techniques
aimed at building a scale model without using prefabricated pieces.
Resin casting is one technique, but you can also shape solid blocks of
wood, plastic, plaster or metal, use plasticard, etc.
